Milieu Solar SDN. BHD. is seeking a hands-on Solar PV Technician to install, wire, inspect, and commission residential, commercial and industrial solar systems.

You will perform DC/AC wiring, cable routing, termination, and trunking with a focus on safety and neat workmanship. You will also conduct testing, maintenance, fault diagnosis, cleaning, and performance monitoring while maintaining comprehensive service records.

Qualifications

• Certificate or Diploma in Electrical, Electronic, Renewable Energy, or a related field.
• Minimum 1 year hands-on experience in solar PV installation.
• Proficient in electrical wiring and cable installation, safety practices.

Responsabilités

• Perform solar PV system installation for residential, commercial and I&C projects.
• Carry out DC/AC cable installation, routing, termination and trunking with neat workmanship.
• Test, inspect, and commission solar PV systems for safe operation.
• Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance and fault rectification.
• Troubleshoot electrical/system faults in solar PV equipment.
• Carry out solar panel cleaning and system performance monitoring.
• Maintain service records and technical reports.
• Ensure compliance with electrical safety regulations and site safety requirements.
• Travel to project sites for rooftop installation and maintenance.

Description du poste

Perform solar PV system installation for residential and commercial & industrial (C&I) projects, including solar panel mounting, inverter installation, electrical wiring, and cable connections.

Carry out DC/AC cable installation, cable routing, termination, trunking cutting, bending, and installation, ensuring neat, tidy, and professional workmanship.

Conduct testing, inspection, and commissioning of solar PV systems to ensure safe and proper operation.

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance, including routine inspections, servicing, and repair of solar PV systems.

Troubleshoot and rectify electrical and system faults involving solar panels, inverters, wiring, connections, and related equipment.

Carry out solar panel cleaning and washing, ensuring proper cleaning methods and safety procedures are followed.

Monitor solar PV system performance, identify abnormalities, and assist in resolving system faults to maintain optimal performance.

Maintain accurate service records, maintenance checklists, and technical reports for installation and maintenance activities.

Ensure all installation and maintenance works comply with electrical safety regulations, quality standards, and site safety requirements.

Travel to project sites and perform rooftop installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and cleaning works as required.

Job Requirements:

Certificate or Diploma in Electrical, Electronic, Renewable Energy, or a related field.

Minimum 1 year of hands‑on experience in solar PV installation, including electrical wiring and cable installation.

Proficient in solar PV installation, DC/AC wiring, cable routing, termination, and basic electrical troubleshooting.

Skilled in measuring, cutting, bending, and installing cable trunking and conduits, ensuring neat alignment and proper finishing.

Knowledge of solar PV modules, inverters, electrical components, and installation safety practices.
