SOL POWER ENGINEERING SDN. BHD. seeks a seasoned Project Manager to lead end-to-end solar farm projects in Malaysia.

Coordinate internal teams, clients, consultants, authorities, subcontractors, and site personnel to meet scope and schedule. Ensure safety, budget, quality, and contractual compliance while driving detailed planning, risk management, and progress reporting. Oversee design reviews, procurement, HSE, documentation, and closure-ready records, with clear stakeholder updates and issue

Qualificações

• Degree or diploma in project management, engineering, construction management, or related discipline.
• Demonstrated experience managing large-scale construction, infrastructure, renewable energy, or solar farm projects from planning through completion.
• Strong knowledge of project scheduling, budget control, contract administration, variation management, claims, and risk management.
• Ability to interpret technical submissions, design documents, method statements, and project specifications.
• Strong stakeholder management, negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in project management and reporting tools, with the ability to analyse project progress and financial performance.
• Knowledge of HSE, quality, regulatory, and project documentation requirements.
• Relevant project management or engineering certification will be an advantage.

Responsabilidades

• Lead end-to-end delivery of large-scale solar farm projects, ensuring they are completed safely, efficiently, and in line with approved scope, schedule, budget, quality standards, and contractual obligations.
• Coordinate engineering, procurement, HSE, quality, commercial, and site teams to align project execution with company and client requirements.
• Develop and maintain detailed project execution plans, work schedules, resource allocation strategies, and risk management plans.
• Review and approve technical submissions, method statements, design documents, and project specifications.
• Collaborate with design consultants, clients, and engineering teams to resolve technical issues and improve constructability.
• Lead regular coordination meetings and provide clear progress updates to maintain stakeholder alignment.
• Manage contractual obligations and resolve project-related disputes and issues in a timely manner.
• Track physical progress with site teams, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions.
• Monitor project budgets and financial performance, including cost tracking, variation management, and claim evaluation.
• Oversee the timely approval of progress claims, variation orders, and payment certifications.
• Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies to protect schedule, cost, quality, and delivery outcomes.
• Ensure project documentation meets company and client requirements for closure, handover, and audit purposes.

Lead the end-to-end delivery of large-scale solar farm projects, ensuring they are completed safely, efficiently, and in line with approved scope, schedule, budget, quality standards, and contractual obligations. You will serve as the central point of coordination across internal teams, clients, consultants, authorities, subcontractors, and site personnel throughout the project lifecycle.
