Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years work/applied learning experience in mechanical fields (Fire Fighting system, HVAC, refrigeration, and mechanical ventilation, plumbing and sanitary system, lifts and escalators).
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Familiar with AutoCAD software.
• Able to work independently and liaise effectively with contractors and authorities.
• Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia in speaking, reading, and writing.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement mechanical building services relevant to Firefighting system, HVAC, Sanitary and Plumbing.
• Liaise with clients, contractors, consultants, and relevant authorities on their engineering request.
• Assist in overall project implementation from initial stage to final hand over.
• Attend all project meetings as required and coordinate with clients, architects, consultants, contractors, etc.
• Project management to ensure the project is kept on schedule including supervision of work progress, resolve ground issues with contractor and relevant stakeholders.
• Review project cost and provide technical advice to client in project tendering.

Megapower Consultants provides both consulting and supervising services for electrical and mechanical system with more than 30 years of experience in various construction projects. Our company undertakes planning, design, cost estimate, adjudication, supervision, management, co-ordination and commissioning of various industrial factories, warehouses, housing, etc.

The candidate will have excellent theoretical and practical knowledge of mechanical engineering disciplines to ensure the application of technical rigor and best practices from conceptualization to execution.

Job Responsibilities:
