Job summary

Dwisolar Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking a Design Engineer with a strong background in MEP and fire protection to handle design development, calculations, and cross-disciplinary coordination on active contracting projects.

You will develop detailed designs for hydraulic, fire suppression, smoke control, and life-safety systems, and perform 2D/3D CAD and BIM modeling using AutoCAD and Revit MEP. Strong coordination and project documentation skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of MEP/ Fire Protection engineering experience.
• Knowledge of fire safety codes and local regulations.
• Experience with AutoCAD and Revit MEP and calculation tools.
• Strong organization and coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed engineering designs and perform hydraulic, fire suppression, smoke control calculations.

We are looking for a Design Engineer with a strong background in MEP and fire protection systems to handle design development, technical calculations, and cross-disciplinary coordination for active contracting projects.

Key responsibilities

• Develop detailed engineering designs and perform required calculations (hydraulic, fire suppression, smoke control, and life safety systems)
• Execute 3D/2D CAD and BIM modeling and spatial coordination across architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines
• Prepare, assemble, and manage technical submissions, shop drawings, and authority compliance documentation
• Maintain complete project documentation, technical logs, and design change records throughout the project lifecycle
• Coordinate technical details with lead engineers, consultants, site execution teams, and vendors

About you

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in MEP / Fire Protection engineering
• Sound knowledge of applicable fire safety codes, engineering standards, and local authority regulations
• Hands-on proficiency with 2D/3D drafting and modeling software (AutoCAD, Revit MEP) and engineering calculation tools
• Strong organizational, coordination, and preliminary project management skills
• Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Fire Safety Engineering, Building Services, or a related discipline
