Qualifications

• Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering (Environmental), Quantity Surveyor or equivalence.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar Project Engineer role, preferably in the construction industry.
• Strong technical knowledge of civil/structural engineering principles and project management.
• Excellent problem‑solving, decision‑making, and analytical skills.
• Proficient with AutoCAD, BIM and structural analysis software.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills with cross‑functional teams.
• Familiarity with codes, regulations and safety standards in construction.
• Proactive, detail‑oriented, and able to work under pressure to meet deadlines.

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join our dynamic team at ALAM REKA BINA SDN BHD. in Kepong, Kuala Lumpur. As a Project Engineer, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the successful delivery of our civil and structural engineering projects. This full‑time position offers the opportunity to work on a variety of challenging projects and contribute to the company's growth and success.

What you'll be doing

Manage and coordinate all aspects of civil and structural engineering projects, including planning, design, and construction

Liaise with clients, subcontractors to ensure effective communication and timely project delivery

Oversee project budgets, schedules, and quality control to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards

Identify and resolve technical issues, provide engineering solutions, and make recommendations to improve project efficiency

Coordinate and supervise the work of project teams, including engineers, technicians, and site personnel

What we’re looking for
