Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Professional qualification and registration as a Bersama Jurutera Malaysia (BJM) engineer or working towards this qualification.
• 3–5 years' experience in structural design and analysis in a consulting or contracting environment.
• Strong knowledge of Malaysian standards and international codes.
• Proficiency in structural analysis and design software (STAAD Pro, SAP2000, ETABS) and related tools.
• Experience with AutoCAD and BIM software.
• Solid understanding of reinforced concrete and steel structures.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, able to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and analyse structural systems for building and infrastructure projects using industry-standard software and engineering principles.
• Prepare detailed structural drawings, calculations, and technical specifications for construction projects.
• Conduct site inspections and supervise construction activities to ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards.

This is a full-time position based in Puchong Jaya, Selangor, where you will play a vital role in the design, analysis, and supervision of civil and structural engineering projects. What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or related discipline from a recognised institution
• Professional qualification and registration as a Bersama Jurutera Malaysia (BJM) engineer or working towards this qualification
• Minimum of 3-5 years' experience in structural design and analysis within a consulting or contracting environment
• Strong knowledge of structural design codes and standards, particularly Malaysian standards and international codes
• Proficiency in structural analysis and design software such as STAAD Pro, SAP2000, ETABS, or equivalent
• Experience with AutoCAD and BIM software tools
• Solid understanding of reinforced concrete, steel structures, and foundation design
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail in technical documentation
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations on construction sites is advantageous
• Willingness to travel to project sites as required
