Job summary

Grand Venture Technology in Johor is seeking a proactive Project Engineer to manage customer projects from enquiry to delivery. You will collaborate with customers and internal engineering, production, and technical teams to ensure projects meet technical requirements, cost targets, and schedules.

You will review drawings, prepare cost estimates, support technical presentations, and coordinate across departments to monitor progress and ensure timely deliveries on multiple projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field, with sheet metal manufacturing experience.
• 2–5 years of project engineering experience in manufacturing.
• Strong project management, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of engineering processes and manufacturing operations.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines; proficient in MS Office.
• Experience with ERP systems is an advantage.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Understand sheet metal manufacturing processes to support enquiries and project requirements.
• Liaise with customers to understand needs, technical requirements, and project specifications.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers and provide timely technical support.
• Provide technical input and engineering information by working closely with internal teams.
• Review customer drawings, specifications, and related documents to prepare accurate cost estimates and quotations.
• Prepare and support technical presentations, project documentation, and other materials for customer discussions.
• Coordinate with internal departments to monitor project progress and ensure orders are delivered on schedule.
• Manage multiple projects and follow up on milestones, issues, and customer requirements.
• Perform other duties and ad hoc assignments as assigned by the Project Manager.

• Able to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines effectively.Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience or knowledge of ERP systems is an added advantage.
