Job summary

NRC Engineering Sdn Bhd is seeking a capable Project Coordinator to support multi-disciplinary engineering projects in Malaysia. You will prepare, schedule, coordinate, and monitor project activities, while communicating with internal and external teams and customers.

The role requires a degree in engineering, 1–3 years of project execution experience, and proficiency in MS Office. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply; strong English and Bahasa Malaysia skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Civil, Chemical, Process, Mechanical, Electrical or related field).
• 1 - 3 years experience in relevant industry project execution experience, preferably with multi- discipline projects.
• Fresh Graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Fluent in English & Bahasa Malaysia.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other applicable software programs.
• General knowledge of office protocol, routines and procedures.
• General knowledge of civil and mechanical designs & HSE related procedures.
• Good knowledge of MS Project or Primavera.

Responsibilities

• Preparing, scheduling, coordinating, and monitoring of assigned projects.
• Scheduling and coordinating meetings, conference calls on project related events with team and customer.
• Involve in project meeting, project planning and scheduling with internal and external team members.
• Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to engineering team and management.
• To prepare and update periodically on the project progress, reports, and presentations.
• Tracking project progress and making adjustment as necessary.
• Helping to identify and manage projects risk and issues.
• Determines project schedule by analyse the project plan and customer specifications, calculating timeline requirements and sequencing project tasks.
• Maintain project schedule by monitoring project progress, coordinating activities and resolving problems
• Hold engineering team members accountable for assigned tasks and track their progress. Provide status updates to management.
