Job summary

Pteris Global Integrated Solution Sdn Bhd is seeking a Project Manager to oversee projects from initiation to completion, coordinating design, procurement, and installation teams to ensure on-time delivery. You will develop plans, schedules, and budgets while tracking progress against milestones.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's degree in engineering or construction management, with 2+ years of PM experience. PMP is preferred; willingness to travel domestically and internationally is required.

Job description

Assist Project head to manage projects from initiation to completion, including project planning, execution, monitoring, and closing phases.

Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including design, procurement, and installation teams, to ensure seamless project execution.

Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets, and track project progress against key milestones and deliverables.

Identify project risks and develop risk mitigation strategies to minimize project disruptions and ensure timely delivery.

Manage project resources effectively, including human resources, equipment, and materials, to optimize project efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Communicate project status, updates, and key milestones to stakeholders, including clients, senior management, and project teams.

Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company policies and procedures throughout the project lifecycle.

Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the project team to drive excellence and achieve project objectives.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or related field. Master's degree or PMP certification preferred.

Minimum of 2 years of experience in project management, preferably in the engineering or construction industry, with a proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time and within budget.

Strong technical knowledge of airport logistics systems, including baggage handling systems, air cargo handling systems, in-flight catering systems, or parcel handling systems, is highly desirable.

Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders at all levels.

Proficiency in project management tools and software, such as MS Project, Primavera P6, or similar tools.

Demonstrated ability to effectively manage project risks, resolve conflicts, and make sound decisions in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Willingness to travel domestically and internationally, as required, to support project activities and client engagements.
