Job summary

AtkinsRéalis Group is seeking a project engineer to support Baggage Handling System (BHS) projects at KLIA. You will coordinate design, installation, testing, and commissioning, monitor progress, and liaise with clients, contractors and airport stakeholders to ensure safe, on-time delivery within budget.

You will review technical documents, attend site meetings, support testing and handover, and assist with scheduling, risk management, and cost control.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical or Mechanical.
• 3-5 years of project engineering experience.
• Strong coordination and stakeholder management skills.
• Good communication and M&E problem solving abilities.
• Willing to be based at KLIA and support site activities.

Support the delivery of Baggage Handling System (BHS) projects at KLIA, ensuring works are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Your role

Coordinate BHS design, installation, testing, and commissioning activities.

Monitor project progress and support day-to-day project delivery.

Liaise with clients, contractors, vendors, and airport stakeholders.

Review technical documents, drawings, and contractor submissions.

Attend site meetings and prepare progress reports.

Monitor site works and ensure compliance with safety and quality requirements.

Support testing, commissioning, and project handover activities.

Assist with project scheduling, risk management, and cost control.

About you

Requirements

Degree in Electrical or Mechanical.

3-5 years of project engineering experience.

Strong coordination and stakeholder management skills.

Good communication and M&E problem solving abilities.

Willing to be based at KLIA and support site activities.

Preferred Experience

Baggage Handling Systems, airport projects, conveyor & material handling systems or industrial automation.

Airport infrastructure projects or Industrial projects.

Construction, testing and commissioning activities.

Brownfield or live operational environments.
