Job summary

Carrier is looking for a Documentation Coordinator in Malaysia to manage project documents, drawings, and engineering submissions. The role involves coordinating material approvals, RFIs, BIM data, and layout/GA drawings, ensuring timely submissions to clients and consultants.

You will maintain revision control and submission status, support commissioning documentation across project stages, and collaborate with engineers, BIM, commissioning teams, and contractors to complete documentation

Responsibilities

• Manage and control project documents, drawings, and engineering submissions.
• Coordinate and track Material Approvals, RFIs, BIM documents, Layout drawings, GA drawings, and other technical submissions.
• Ensure all documents are submitted to the client/consultant accurately and on time.
• Maintain document registers, revision control, submission status, and approval tracking.
• Coordinate Commissioning (Cx) documents for all stages of the project.
• Track and follow up on Cx observations/comments and ensure swift response and timely closure.
• Coordinate with engineers, BIM teams, commissioning teams, contractors, and clients to complete documentation requirements.
• Understand and manage submissions through client document portals and their approval processes.
• Assist Project Engineers with documentation and coordination activities when required.
• Attend project sites when necessary to understand project requirements and accelerate documentation and submission processes.
• Support project handover and final documentation closeout.
