Job summary

Hirehub Management Sdn. Bhd. in Malaysia's Johor region is seeking a Project Engineer/Coordinator to plan, execute and coordinate engineering projects from initiation to delivery.

The role requires ensuring on-time completion in line with objectives and coordinating with customers, suppliers and internal departments. You will develop project plans, monitor progress, manage documentation, and address engineering changes while ensuring quality, cost, schedule and safety are maintained.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field.
• Approximately 3 years of experience in project engineering or coordination.
• Experience in manufacturing, machinery, automation or precision engineering preferred.
• Strong planning, scheduling and cross-functional coordination skills.
• Ability to read engineering drawings, technical documents and specifications.
• Proficient in MS Office; CAD/PM software is an advantage.
• Excellent communication, analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, with teamwork and timely delivery focus.
• Fluent Mandarin and English preferred for work-related communication.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute and coordinate projects to meet objectives and deadlines.
• Develop project plans, schedules and resource arrangements, monitor progress.
• Coordinate with customers, suppliers and internal departments for smooth execution.
• Prepare and maintain project-related drawings, reports and records.
• Track product development, changes and technical issues; coordinate resolutions.
• Monitor quality, cost, schedule and safety; identify risks and mitigations.
• Provide regular progress updates and recommendations for improvement.
• Assist in procurement, material preparation, equipment installation and testing.
• Participate in project meetings and ensure actions are completed on time.
• Perform other project and engineering-related duties as assigned.
