Job summary

EH Property Management Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced Assistant Project Manager / Project Manager (Property Development) in Petaling Jaya. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Architectural, Civil & Structural, Housing, Building and Planning (HBP) or relevant field.
• At least 10 years total experience and 5 years in property development.
• Professional registration with BEM, IEM, LAM, PAM and/or PMP is an advantage.
• Mature and able to interact with different levels of management.
• Proficient in written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• High attention to detail and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and monitor progress of property development projects to meet specifications and deadlines.
• Check drawings and specs against approved plans and resolve conflicts before construction.
• Liaise with consultants and local council for authority submissions up to CCC.
• Attend coordination meetings and communicate changes to prevent construction mistakes.
• Ensure project execution aligns with contract, schedule, and budget.
• Coordinate with consultants, architects and internal departments during design and development.
• Value progress claims and manage related processes.
• Take on additional duties as assigned by management.

Job description

Assistant Project Manager / Project Manager (Property Development)

• Oversee and monitor the progress of property development projects, ensuring compliance with project specifications, regulatory requirements, and timely delivery.
• Checks all construction drawings/ specifications against approved plans to ensure conformity, reports discrepancy in order to resolve all conflicting issues before commencement of construction works
• Liaison with Consultant and local council for authority submission in order to get development approvals until Certificate Completion and Compliance (CCC).
• Attends coordination meetings to update compliance/ procedural requirement and highlights construction changes, information and specifications to avoid construction mistakes.
• Ensure project execution in accordance with the contract documents, schedule and budget.
• Liaises with consultants, architects and internal departments such as Project, Contract and Marketing department in design and development stage of new projects.
• Valuation of progress claims.
• Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time by the management.

Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Architectural, Civil & Structural, Housing, Building and Planning (HBP) or relevant field.
• At least 10 year(s) of total working experience and 5 years in property development.
• Professional registration with BEM, IEM, LAM, PAM and / or PMP are an added advantage.
• Mature and able to interact with different level of management.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving skills, strategic and critical thinking.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Proficient in written & spoken in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
