Job summary

S PIERSON MACHINERY Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking a proactive Project Coordinator to review customer enquiries, read drawings, and prepare quotations based on specifications, materials and lead times. You will follow projects from quotation through production, inspection and delivery, coordinating with internal teams and external partners.

The role requires a Diploma or Degree in a related field and at least 1 year of experience in project coordination, sales support, or quotation roles.

Qualifications

• Diploma / Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Manufacturing, Sales, Customer Service or related fields.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant working experience in Project Coordination, Customer Service, Sales Support, Quotation or related roles.
• Experience in manufacturing, machining or engineering is an advantage.
• Experience in quotation preparation and project follow-up is preferred.
• Able to read and understand basic mechanical / engineering drawings.
• Basic understanding of dimensions, tolerances, materials and manufacturing processes.
• Good communication, coordination and follow-up skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook.
• Detail-oriented, responsible, proactive and able to work independently.
• Able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Review new customer enquiries, drawings and quotation requirements
• Prepare and coordinate quotations based on customer specifications, materials, processes, costs and lead time
• Read and understand basic mechanical / engineering drawings, dimensions and tolerances
• Follow up projects from quotation and sample development through production, inspection and delivery
• Coordinate with customers, suppliers, Sales, Production, Quality, Warehouse and Logistics teams
• Monitor project schedules, delivery timelines and outstanding issues to ensure timely completion
• Prepare and verify quotations, orders, drawings and other project-related documents
• Maintain accurate quotation, order, customer and project records
• Communicate with customers and suppliers to clarify requirements and resolve project-related matters
• Prepare project status updates and highlight risks, delays or important issues to Management

About you
