Job summary

SUNLIGHT CONSULTANT SDN BHD in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Project Assistant & Logistics Coordinator to manage construction material logistics, coordinate supplier and transporter relationships, and ensure timely delivery to project sites.

You will track goods from dispatch to arrival, maintain accurate documentation, resolve delivery-related issues, and use Kingdee ERP to reconcile records. Diploma or Bachelor's in logistics or related field plus 1–3 years experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, Construction, or related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in logistics, construction, project coordination, warehouse, or transportation.
• Experience in construction or familiarity with construction sites and materials is an advantage.
• Familiar with local logistics and transportation processes in Malaysia.
• Good knowledge of delivery coordination and logistics documentation.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic computer applications.
• Experience with Kingdee or other ERP systems is an advantage.
• Good communication, coordination, and interpersonal skills.
• Responsible, detail-oriented, and able to work under pressure.
• Able to handle multiple tasks and resolve day-to-day operational issues.

Responsibilities

• Follow up on construction material requests and coordinate timely delivery to project sites
• Coordinate with suppliers, factories, transporters, drivers, and project sites to ensure smooth delivery
• Track goods from dispatch to arrival and confirm delivery schedules with project sites
• Coordinate the receiving of materials and check delivery orders, receiving records, and related documents
• Maintain good communication and relationships with customers and project site personnel
• Conduct monthly reconciliation with project sites and assist with material cost calculations
• Maintain accurate records and documentation for project sites, deliveries, and logistics activities
• Update delivery and receiving information in the Kingdee system and ensure system records match actual deliveries
• Follow up and resolve delivery, transportation, or site-related issues in a timely manner
• Assist in coordinating local transportation and logistics arrangements

About you

Familiar with local logistics and transportation processes in Malaysia
