Job summary

Projek Lebuhraya Usahasama Bhd in Malaysia is seeking an experienced coordinator to support KPI planning, refurbishment works at Toll Plazas, and contract administration. You will assist in technical reviews, site visits, and ensuring regulatory requirements are met.

The role involves preparing project documentation, responding to customer inquiries, and monitoring costs to keep within budget, with emphasis on collaboration across departments and timely project completion.

Qualifications

• BSc in Architecture or Construction Project or equivalent technical qualifications.
• 3–5 years of experience in related field and/or knowledge in architectural field, project management, site supervision, highway operations.
• Able to work under minimum supervision and contribute fully to objectives.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate KPI planning for management approval and tracking of achievements.
• Assist in refurbishment works at Toll Plaza, Region & Section.
• Assist in providing information and documentation responding to customer complaints.
• Apply technical knowledge to supporting execution of projects to meet user requirements and regulatory requirements.
• Assist in technical review of design drawings, quantities, specifications and compile feedback to ensure Tender and Contract Documents are complete.
• Assist in site visits and progress meetings to supervise and control projects for timely completion.
• Assist in monitoring construction costs to stay within budget and manage variations within 10% of contract sum.
• Assist in checking claims, variation orders, EOT and other contractual documents for proper execution and administration.
• Assist in preparing letters, minutes, reports and related documents for project execution and completion.

Job Description:

1. To coordinate on behalf of HOD in the Department’s Key Performance Index (KPI) planning for management approval and tracking of final achievement.
2. To assist the coordination and execution of refurbishment works at Toll Plaza, Region & Section.
3. To assist in providing information and any other related documentation in responding to customer complaints with the relevant Department/Section.
4. Applying technical and professional knowledge in assisting the execution of assigned projects to meet the user requirement and regulatory requirements.
5. To assist in conducting the technical review of technical detailed design drawings, bill of quantities, specifications as well as compiling feedback from other technical and operations departments to ensure the completeness of the Tender and Contract Document.
6. To assist in conducting/attending site visits and progress meetings to ensure the proper supervision and control of the projects for completion within the contract period.
7. To assist in monitoring and controlling the construction cost to be within the approved budget and any variation not to exceed the 10% limitation of the original contract sum.
8. To assist in checking all claims, variation orders, extension of time and other contractual documentation for the proper execution and administration of the contracts.
9. To assist in preparing letters, minutes of meetings/discussions, reports and any related documentations required for the execution and completion of the projects.

Qualifications

• BSc in Architecture / Construction Project or any equivalent technical qualifications.
• Minimum of 3 to 5 years’ experience and background in related field and/or knowledge in related architectural field, project management, site supervision and work capacity in highway operations.
