Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Design Architect in Senai, Johor, on a 6-month probation with potential absorption. You will drive design direction for industrial projects, coordinate with consultants, and manage submission drawings for approvals.

Responsibilities include leading concept development, reviewing drawings and models, and guiding design during construction, reporting to the Director. Strong English and Bahasa Melayu communications are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in Architecture or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of architectural design experience.
• Experience in industrial projects.
• Strong design portfolio demonstrating concept development.
• Proficient in SketchUp / Revit / Rhino / Adobe Suite.

Responsibilities

• Provide regular updates on design progress and overall direction and report Directly to Director.
• Lead overall design vision, including concept design and spatial planning.
• Review and approve drawings, models, and presentations.
• Lead coordination with consultants, clients, and internal teams.
• Plan, manage, and monitor design timelines and deliverables.
• Support preparation of submission drawings for approvals.
• Provide design guidance during the construction phase.

Position: Design Architect
Status: 6 months’ probation Under PERSOLKELLY and will be absorbed under company if fits for the role.
Location: Senai, Johor.
Background: Architecture Firm.
Working Days: Monday - Friday
Working Hours: 9 am – 6 pm
Salary: up to RM8k

Entitlements: EPF, SOCSO, Annual Leave and others leave entitlement based on Employment Act.

Requirement

• Degree in Architecture or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in architectural design.
• Experience in industrial projects.
• Strong design portfolio demonstrating concept development.
• Proficient in SketchUp / Revit / Rhino / Adobe Suite.
• Strong 3D visualization and presentation skills.
• Good understanding of local regulations (e.g. UBBL).
• Strong communication skills in English and Bahasa Melayu.
