Job summary

GET BUILDERS PROSPECT SDN BHD is seeking a responsible and detail-oriented Project Architect to manage architectural coordination with project and site teams, ensuring design intent is implemented throughout construction.

You will lead design development through construction, review drawings and specs, collaborate with clients, consultants, contractors, and authorities, and conduct site visits to ensure quality and compliance with approved drawings and project requirements.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Architecture or related field.
• Experience in architectural design, construction or coordination preferred.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and related design software.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to coordinate with consultants, contractors and site teams.
• Willing to attend site meetings and conduct inspections when required.

• Ensure works follow approved drawings and project requirements.

• Coordinate with structural, M&E and other disciplines to minimise clashes.
• Review shop drawings, material submissions, samples and other technical documents.
• Monitor project schedules and ensure deliverables on time.

A responsible and detail-oriented Project Architect who is able to manage architectural coordination while working closely with the project and site teams to ensure that design intent is properly implemented throughout the construction process.

Key responsibilities

Manage and coordinate architectural design works from design development through construction and completion.

Prepare, review and coordinate architectural drawings, specifications and related documentation.

Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, subcontractors and relevant authorities on project requirements.

Ensure architectural works are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, specifications and project requirements.

Attend project, consultant and site coordination meetings when required.

Conduct site inspections and monitor construction progress, workmanship and design compliance.

Identify and resolve architectural and design-related issues during construction.

Coordinate architectural works with structural, M&E and other disciplines to minimise discrepancies and clashes.

Review shop drawings, material submissions, samples and other relevant technical documents.

Monitor project schedules and ensure architectural deliverables are completed within the required timeline.

About you

Degree or Diploma in Architecture or a related field.

Relevant working experience in architectural design, construction or project coordination is preferred.

Proficient in AutoCAD and other relevant architectural/design software.

Good understanding of architectural drawings, construction details and building materials.

Able to coordinate effectively with consultants, contractors and site teams.

Good communication, problem-solving and organisational skills.

Able to work independently and as part of a project team.

Willing to attend site meetings and conduct site inspections when required.
