Surbana Jurong Malaysia is seeking an Architect with 4+ years of experience to support the Project Architect in design development, feasibility studies, and technical documentation. The role involves coordinating schematic and detailed design, producing drawings for Authority submissions, tenders, and construction, and ensuring compliance with codes and guidelines.
Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Enscape, Photoshop and MS Office is required; Rhino knowledge is a plus.

Your general role and responsibilities will involve work in a BIM environment.
Assist the Project Architect with various aspects of the project, including pre-design analysis and feasibility studies, design, technical compliance, project documentation and implementation.
Ensure project aligns with timelines, quality and regulatory standards.
Assist the Project Architect to coordinate schematic and detailed design development efforts and prepare drawings, documentation and specifications fit for Authority Submission, Tender and Construction documentation in accordance with building codes, Authority guidelines, company standards and project and client requirements.
Liaise with consultants and other project stakeholders on project coordination matters.
Attend project-related meetings & participate in design and technical discussions.
Attend and participate in periodical site inspections & meetings.
Any other duties as assigned by the Project Director/Architect related to the nature of the work scope.
Job Specification
Must possess a Degree in Architecture (equivalent to LAM Part 2) with a minimum of 4 years' experience.
Well-versed in Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, Sketch Up, Enscape, Photoshop & Microsoft Office. Working knowledge in Rhino is preferable.
Knowledge in other parametric scripting tools (Grasshopper, Python etc.) and/or AI-enabled architectural design tools are advantageous.
Good written, verbal and graphic communication and presentation skills.
Organised, responsible and able to work both independently and collaboratively within a team-centric environment.
Competent knowledge of architectural details and working drawings.
Flair for design and able to conceptualise good design proposals.
Possesses a good understanding of the Uniform Building By-Laws and Authorities guidelines and requirements.
