Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an engaged professional to support project managers in coordinating development, trials, and MP stage for manufacturing projects.

You will maintain strong coordination with internal teams and external partners, ensuring project milestones, cost controls, quality, and timely delivery while adapting to a fast-paced environment. A Diploma or Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering and at least 3 years' manufacturing experience are required.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in manufacturing projects.
• Proven track record of managing projects from initiation to closure.
• Excellent project management, communication, problem solving and leadership skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Manager in coordinating with project team members during development, trials and MP stage.
• Maintain strong coordination with internal departments and external parties to ensure smooth procedures.
• Assist with special/ad-hoc assignments and business travel when required.
• Initiate and conduct new projects, transfers and engineering changes with relevant departments.
• Liaise with customers on new part/project requirements and source components/raw materials.
• Coordinate sample submissions for approval and monitor project schedules, costs, quality, and specifications.
• Coordinate activities for meeting project milestones and liaising with domestic/overseas customers on launches.

This position focuses on customer engagement and project award management (Manufacturing industry), by leading project teams, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, and ensuring timely and successful project delivery.

Job Description:

Assist Project Manager in coordinate with project team member during project development, trial run build until MP stage.

Maintain a strong coordination skill with the internal department and external parties to ensure a smooth working procedure.

Assist in any other special/ ad-hoc assignment or project assigned by superior or business travelling with superior from time to time.

Initiate and conduct new project, project transfer and engineering change with all relevant departments.

Liaise with customer on new part/project requirement, source for product components/ raw materials.

Coordinate and follow up on sample submission for approval.

To supervise co-ordinate all activities for purpose of meeting project schedule, cost, quality and specification.

Liaise with domestic and overseas customer on the launch of new part and transfer of existing part.

Responsible for planning, scheduling, conducting and coordinating the technical and management aspects of projects.

Job Requirements:

Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering related field.

Possess at least 3 year(s) of working experience in the manufacturing industries.

Proven track record of successfully managing projects from initiation to closure.

Excellent project management, communication, problem solving and leadership skills.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
