Job summary

Bossard Malaysia seeks a Program Manager in Penang to lead key customer accounts and coordinate cross-functional teams across Sales, Supply Chain, Procurement, Planning and Operations. You will own the order fulfilment lifecycle, ensure on-time delivery and maintain service excellence.

You will drive process improvements, monitor customer performance, and coach a team to align procurement with customer requirements and business goals, supporting long-term growth.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5-8 years of project or program management experience.
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
• Strong MS Office skills including Word, PowerPoint, Excel.
• Physically fit and able to work under pressure and tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee order fulfilment, procurement, and planning functions, including supplier development and relationship management.

Job description

The Program Manager is responsible for managing key customer accounts and serving as the primary point of contact throughout the order fulfilment lifecycle. This role coordinates cross-functional activities across Sales, Supply Chain, Procurement, Planning, and Operations to ensure customer requirements are met, delivery commitments are achieved, and service excellence is maintained. The Program Manager proactively manages customer expectations, drives issue resolution, and builds strong customer relationships to support long-term business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the organization's order fulfilment, procurement, and planning functions, including supplier development, relationship management, and strategic partnerships.
• Drive inventory optimization initiatives to improve inventory turnover while maintaining service excellence.
• Continuously enhance operational efficiency by reducing processing and transaction lead times.
• Ensure on-time shipment and delivery performance through effective logistics planning and execution.
• Manage and coach the team to ensure compliance with operational procedures, quality standards, and documentation requirements, minimizing disruptions to business operations.
• Oversee end-to-end procurement activities to ensure supply continuity, cost effectiveness, and compliance with company policies.
• Collaborate closely with Account Managers, Business Development Managers, and Customer Service teams to align procurement activities with customer requirements and business objectives.
• Monitor and evaluate customer performance, identifying opportunities to improve service levels, operational efficiency, and business growth.
• Lead performance management, development, and engagement initiatives for team members to build a high-performing organization.

Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least a Master/ Bachelor’s degree, preferably major in business, Engineering, Supply Chain, IT, operations, or a related field
• With 5-8 years of project or program management experience
• Excellent communication (oral and written), interpersonal, organizational, and presentation skills.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft office product *Words, PowerPoint, Excel, Visual basic
• Physically fit, able to work under pressure and tight deadlines.
