Jowat Manufacturing (SEA) Sdn Bhd in Malaysia seeks an Accounts Executive to manage AR, AP, taxation, e-Invoicing, and intercompany transactions from Nilai.
You will support month-end closing, audits, and financial reporting, while ensuring compliance with internal controls and statutory requirements.
Candidates should have a Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance and 2–3 years’ experience in manufacturing; SAP knowledge is an advantage.
a) Accounts Receivable & Credit Management
Manage customer invoicing, collections, receipts, and account reconciliation.
Monitor customer outstanding balances and follow up on overdue accounts.
Review customer credit limits, credit exposure, and credit behavior.
Release customer orders in accordance with credit control policies.
Liaise with credit insurance brokers on coverage, claims, premiums, and policy matters.
b) Accounts Payable
Process and verify supplier invoices and payment transactions.
Perform supplier statement reconciliation and resolve discrepancies.
Ensure timely and accurate recording of AP transactions and payments.
c) Taxation & e-Invoicing
Handle day-to-day taxation matters and support relevant tax filings.
Ensure proper tax documentation and records are maintained.
Managee-Invoicing, including preparation, submission, validation, and adjustments.
Ensure e-Invoicing processes comply with applicableIRBM/LHDN requirements.
d) Intercompany Transactions
Handle intercompany billing, charges, settlements, and accounting entries.
Perform regular intercompany reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
Coordinate with related companies to ensure accurate and timely recording of transactions.
e) Month-End Closing & Audit
Perform bank, customer, supplier, and intercompany reconciliations.
Assist with monthly and year-end closing activities and financial reporting.
Support internal and external audits by providing schedules and supporting documents.
Ensure compliance with accounting policies, internal controls, and statutory requirements.
f) Other Task
Backup team member on task assign
Prepare and Support on Annual Statutory Audit
Perform other duty as assigned
Adhering to established safety policies at workplace
Participate actively in the company sustainability program, understanding relevant environmental aspects and their impacts, recycling, and other established environmental program.
Perform any ad-hoc task given by superior.
Required Skills & Ability
Meticulous attention to detail
Ability to work with minimal supervision and good time management
Strong knowledge of MS Office particularly in Excel for data analytics and presentation
Proficient in using SAP System added advantage
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and good in attitude
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting / Finance
2 – 3 years of progressive financial experience in Manufacturing will be an added advantage
