Job summary

Unison Group in Malaysia seeks an experienced Production Support engineer to handle L2/L3 support for batch and financial messaging systems in a secured banking environment. You will monitor batch schedules with Control-M, troubleshoot failures, and coordinate with infra and app teams to maintain system stability.

The role requires strong SWIFT knowledge, Linux expertise, and experience with controlled release processes, in a highly secure banking/financial setting.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in providing L2/L3 production support for batch and financial messaging systems.
• Strong proficiency with Control-M for job scheduling and batch monitoring.
• Solid Linux (RHEL or equivalent) knowledge and shell scripting ability.
• Hands-on experience with SWIFT Solutions (AMH / AMG / SAG) and understanding of financial messaging systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide L2/L3 production support for batch and financial messaging systems
• Monitor and manage batch schedules using Control-M
• Troubleshoot job failures, perform root cause analysis (RCA), and ensure timely resolution
• Support SWIFT-based payment processing and message flows
• Work closely with infrastructure and application teams to ensure system stability
• Handle incident management, escalation, and production release support
• Maintain SLA compliance in a highly secure banking environment

Mandatory Skills:

• Strong experience in Control-M (job scheduling & batch monitoring)
• Proficiency in Linux (RHEL or equivalent)
• Good knowledge of Shell Scripting
• Hands-on experience in SWIFT Solutions (AMH / AMG / SAG)
• Understanding of financial messaging systems

Nice to Have:

• Experience with JBoss application server
• Knowledge of Apache Web Server
• Exposure to Citrix environments
• Experience working in highly secured environments (banking/financial services)
• Understanding of SWIFT MT messages and ISO 20022 standards
