IPS Industrial Engineering Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is actively seeking a Production Supervisor / Superintendent to oversee daily operations, ensure targets are met and uphold product quality.

You will lead production staff, coordinate with maintenance and QC, monitor machine performance, and drive safety, 5S housekeeping and continuous improvement. Proficiency in Chinese is required to communicate with China-based counterparts. We offer PA & hospitalization coverage and annual increments.

Formación

• Minimum qualification: Certificate, Diploma, or Degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of working experience in a production or manufacturing environment, preferably in a supervisory role.
• Experience in fabrication, metalworking, assembly, or a related manufacturing industry will be an advantage.
• Good understanding of production planning, workflow management and manufacturing processes.
• Ability to read and understand mechanical and assembly drawings.
• Basic knowledge of machine operation, troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.
• Familiarity with quality control procedures, workplace safety requirements and 5S practices.
• Good leadership, communication, problem-solving and team coordination skills.
• Proficient in basic computer applications and production reporting.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet production deadlines.
• Proficiency in Chinese speaking is required to effectively communicate and coordinate with China-based counterparts, suppliers & stakeholders.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise and monitor daily production activities to meet production targets and delivery schedules.
• Ensure production schedules are followed and output targets are achieved efficiently.
• Monitor production progress and take corrective action to address delays or operational issues.
• Lead, supervise and coordinate production operators to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Allocate manpower and tasks according to production requirements.
• Monitor staff performance, discipline, attendance and productivity.
• Ensure products meet established quality standards and customer specifications.
• Monitor production processes and coordinate with the Quality Control (QC) team to resolve quality issues.
• Investigate production defects and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Monitor machine and equipment performance to ensure efficient operation.
• Coordinate with the Maintenance team on preventive maintenance, repairs and troubleshooting.
• Minimize machine downtime and production disruptions.
• Ensure compliance with workplace safety procedures and company regulations.
• Maintain good housekeeping practices in accordance with 5S standards.
• Promote a safe, clean, and organized production environment.
• Prepare and maintain production reports, records and relevant documentation.
• Monitor production output, rejection rates, downtime and manpower efficiency.
• Report production performance, operational issues and improvement opportunities to management.
• Identify opportunities to improve production processes, productivity and operational efficiency.
• Recommend and implement measures to reduce waste, defects and production costs.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance overall manufacturing performance.

Production Supervisor / Superintendent (Urgently Hiring)

We are seeking a responsible and experienced Production Supervisor / Superintendent to oversee daily production operations, ensure production targets are achieved, maintain product quality and improve overall manufacturing efficiency. The successful candidate will supervise production personnel, coordinate with relevant departments, monitor machine and equipment performance and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

Candidates with proven experience in steel fabrication, structural steel, metal fabrication, or manufacturing environments are strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

1. Production Planning & Control

• Supervise and monitor daily production activities to meet production targets and delivery schedules.
• Ensure production schedules are followed and output targets are achieved efficiently.

2. Manpower Supervision
