Win-Fung Fibreglass Sdn Bhd is seeking a Production Executive to bridge upper management and shop floor, ensuring output targets, quality, and safety. You will plan production, monitor daily operations, and coordinate across departments to maintain smooth workflows.

The role emphasizes driving productivity, coaching staff, and upholding health and safety standards in a manufacturing environment in Shah Alam, Malaysia.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Production Management, Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical), or related technical field.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in manufacturing, plant operations, or physical production; supervising/managing production teams preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Microsoft Project.
• Able to read technical drawings; AutoCAD.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time-management abilities.
• Excellent communication for liaising with various departments and teams.
• Leadership abilities to guide and support production teams.
• Knowledge of health and safety protocols and quality improvement tools (5S), ISO 9001:2015.

Responsibilities

• Plan and monitor production output.

• Oversee, control and monitor daily production operations.
• Lead daily production progress meetings with leaders and supervisors.
• Coordinate with various departments to ensure smooth operation.
• Plan equipment or machinery maintenance activities based on scheduled service and parts replacement.
• Oversee inventory management.
• Increase production productivity and efficiency; reduce scrap and rejects.
• Conduct weekly coaching sessions and provide performance feedback with records.
• Coordinate between production and project teams to ensure timely product delivery.
• Ensure timely delivery in line with client requirements.
• Monitor product status and scheduling with sales and project teams.
• Oversee company safety activities and maintain a safe working environment.
• Oversee 5S initiative and protocols.
• Support the team by taking on other duties as instructed by superior.

The Production Executive acts as the bridge between upper management and the shop floor. A Production Executive oversees daily manufacturing or project operations to ensure output targets, quality standards, and safety rules are met efficiently.

Responsibilities:

Production Planning and Scheduling

• Plan and monitor production output
• Manage report and maintain records of the production output

Daily operation management

• Oversee, control and monitor daily production operation
• Conduct and lead daily production progress meeting with leaders and supervisor
• Coordinate with various department within the company to ensure smooth operation
• Plan equipment or machinery maintenance activities based on scheduled service and parts replacement
• Oversee inventory management

Performance enhancement and continuous improvement

• Enhance production performance by increasing productivity, raising production efficiency and reducing scrap and reject rates
• Improve management practices by conducting weekly employee coaching sessions and providing constructive performance feedback through systematic record keeping system

Coordination and communication

• Coordinate between production and project teams to ensure time product delivery
• Ensure timely delivery commitment to accordance with the client requirement
• Foster effective communication with sales and project teams by diligently monitoring product status and scheduling

Safety and compliance

• Responsible for overseeing company safety activities and ensuring a safe working environment
• Oversee the company 5s initiative and protocols, ensuring a secure and efficient working environment

Emphasizing flexibility and teamwork

• Support the team and organization by performing other duties as instructed by the superior, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability to meet changing priorities

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Production Management, Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical), or a related technical field.
• Experience: Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in manufacturing, plant operations, or physical production. Experience in supervising or managing production teams is preferred
• Computer skills: Proficient in Microsoft word, excel, power point and Microsoft Project
• Technical Skill: Able read technical drawing ; Autocad
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time-management abilities
• Excellent communication skill for liaising with various department and teams
• Leadership abilities to guide and support production teams
• Knowledge of health and safety protocols and quality improvement tools (e.g. 5S), ISO 9001: 2015
