Job summary

Precast Concrete (Pontian) Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to lead our Pontian production line and oversee operations on a daily basis. You will coordinate mould-related activities and manage subcontractor work to meet the day’s production and quality targets.

You will ensure correct raw material usage, conduct mould inspections, maintain documentation, and enforce SOPs. Strong leadership and problem-solving skills are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
• At least 3–5 years of experience in precast concrete production or similar manufacturing environment.
• Prior supervisory or team leader experience is required.
• Familiar with quality control systems, SOPs and production documentation.
• Knowledge of precast concrete production processes, mould inspection and pre-pour inspection is an advantage.
• Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work in a factory/plant environment in Pontian, Johor.
• Willing to relocate or currently based in Johor is preferred.

Responsibilities

Precast Concrete (Pontian) Sdn Bhd is an established precast concrete manufacturer based in Pontian, Johor. We specialize in producing high-quality precast concrete components for construction projects delivered to Singapore. As we continue to grow, we are looking for an experienced and dedicated Production Supervisor to join our team and support our daily production operations.

To lead the production operatives within the assigned production line, establishing and maintaining high standards of performance.

Responsible for leading and coordinating the production of assigned mould including activities of Sub-Contractor to achieve production within the day and to the quality standard required.

Supervision in the daily production of precast concrete to meet with the production schedule.

Ensure sufficient of raw material of daily usage in accordance to daily production schedule, reporting to immediate superior if needed.

Prepare and conduct mould inspection and pre-pour inspection on daily basis, prepare checklist and relevant inspection reports.

Maintain production’s documentation well-records.

Ensuring the plant production operation, work instructions and procedures are strictly followed.

Closely standing supervision of concrete pours and check continuously of finishes surface towards conformance to specifications and standards.

Identify issues in efficiency and suggest improvements if needed.

To ensure that workers are adequately skilled and experienced in following and understanding correct production methods.

Maintain and implement quality control system in the factory and project sites by following the project quality manual and standard operating procedures set by the company.

Liaising with Production Department’s member and sub-contractors for any non-conformance for pre-pour inspection, trains workers whenever necessary and as required.
