Job summary

JCEC Concrete Sdn Bhd is seeking an assistant Production Engineer to support precast production processes at its Ulu Choh facility. You will help ensure daily output meets customer schedules and assist with on-site troubleshooting alongside foremen and workers.

Responsibilities include coordinating production and deliveries, ensuring safety rules are followed, and maintaining product quality through inspections and problem-solving. An engineering background is required.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering is required.
• Analytical competencies are essential.
• Positive attitude and ability to work independently are required.
• Willingness to be based at Ulu Choh, Johor.

Job description

Assist the Production Engineer in production Precast processes.

Ensure daily production and delivery according to the customer schedule.

Attend to production floor problems faced by the Production Foremen and workers.

Co-ordinate and organize the production and delivery activities to achieve a "smooth flow" in process.

Ensure safety rules and regulations are observed in the production area.

Ensure products meet the required standard of quality.

Conduct confirmation inspection for incoming, in-process and outgoing products/materials.

Investigate the cause of non-conforming product and the corrective action needed to prevent recurrence.

Initiate preventive measures on causes of non-conformance and co-ordinate the corrective action to be taken.

Follow up on preventive measures and corrective action taken.

Responsible for the implementation of the PER and RA and Safe Work Procedure of the company.

Requirements:

Diploma or Degree graduates in Civil Engineering.

Possess analytical competencies.

Positive attitude and able to work independently.

Must be able to work at Ulu Choh.

Experience in Precast Concrete Industry/Background
