Job summary

Precast Concrete (Pontian) Sdn Bhd in Johor is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead and coordinate precast concrete production on assigned moulds, supervise operatives and subcontractors, and ensure daily production schedules and quality standards are met.

You will conduct inspections, maintain production documentation, and implement quality control systems across factory and project sites while driving improvements and addressing non-conformances with the Production Department.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Civil Engineering and/or equivalent.
• At least 2 years' experience in quality control in precast industry.
• Experience in precast industry (HDB Project).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.).
• Problem-solving, analyzing and reporting skills.
• Positive attitude in learning.

Responsibilities

• Lead the production operatives within the assigned production line, establishing and maintaining high standards of performance.
• Lead and coordinate the production of assigned moulds including activities of subcontractors to achieve production within the day and to the required quality standard.
• Supervise daily production of precast concrete to meet the production schedule.
• Ensure sufficient raw material for daily usage in accordance with the daily production schedule; report to immediate superior if needed.
• Prepare and conduct mould inspection and pre-pour inspection on a daily basis; prepare checklist and relevant inspection reports.
• Maintain production documentation and records.
• Ensure plant production operation, work instructions and procedures are strictly followed.
• Closely supervise concrete pours and continuously check surface finishes for conformance to specifications and standards.
• Identify issues in efficiency and suggest improvements.
• Ensure workers are adequately skilled and experienced in correct production methods.
• Maintain and implement quality control system in the factory and project sites by following the project quality manual and standard operating procedures.
• Liaise with Production Department members and subcontractors for any non-conformance for pre-pour inspection; train workers when necessary.
• Any other tasks as assigned by management.
