Job summary

Private Advertiser in Malaysia seeks an experienced production leader to oversee daily operations, manufacturing processes and the production team, reporting to the Production Engineer/Manager.

You will drive TPM, lean initiatives, ensure ISO/IATF compliance, collaborate with Supply Chain to optimize resources, and coach staff to meet KPI targets for safety, quality, delivery and cost.

Job description

This individual will be in charge of overall daily production operations and manufacturing processes. Works under the general supervision of the Production Engineer / Manager. This position will be responsible for the overall production team and operations, and will interact internally with all related departments.

Key responsibilities

In charge of overall daily production operations

Responsible for the overall manufacturing process and workflow

Lead, motivate and engage team members to achieve and exceed product line KPIs for Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost

Ensure Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) effectiveness

Perform basic machine troubleshooting and maintenance support

Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean tools

Ensure compliance with IATF 16949 and ISO 14001 standards

Collaborate with the Supply Chain team to optimize production resources

Requirement

Minimum Certificate in Mechanical / Electrical / Mechatronics or equivalent, with relevant working experience

Strong problem-solving skills

Minimum 4 years of leadership experience in leading a production team

Able to communicate effectively at all levels
