The Production Supervisor oversees daily production operations to ensure efficient and timely manufacturing of products. This role involves monitoring workforce performance, upholding stringent quality standards, and collaborating across departments to resolve production-related issues. The supervisor tracks production KPIs, provides training and coaching to production staff, champions continuous improvement initiatives, and maintains comprehensive documentation and regulatory compliance.
Oversee daily production operations to ensure efficient and timely manufacturing of products
Monitor workforce performance, effectively assign tasks, and ensure all productivity targets are consistently achieved
Uphold stringent quality standards, proactively troubleshoot process issues, and ensure full adherence to company policies and safety regulations
Collaborate effectively with Quality Control, Engineering, Materials, Warehouse and other departments to swiftly resolve production-related issues
Track production KPIs such as output, downtime, yield, and scrap, implementing timely and effective corrective actions
Provide comprehensive training, coaching, and constructive performance feedback to production staff
Champion continuous improvement initiatives including 5S, Kaizen, and other lean manufacturing practices
Ensure meticulous documentation of all production reports, attendance records, and incident reports
Actively participate in internal and external audits, contributing to the maintenance of ISO and other relevant regulatory compliance
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Management, or a closely related field
Preferably 3-5 years of progressive experience in a production supervisory role
Strong understanding of production processes, robust quality standards, and lean manufacturing principles
Proven leadership capabilities, excellent interpersonal skills, and clear communication abilities
Ability to perform effectively under pressure, consistently meet deadlines, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experienced with production planning systems such as ERP or MES
Flexibility to work in shifts and provide support for weekend or overtime work as required
