Job description

1. 1. Responsible to manage, lead and supervise a team to achieve the organizational objectives.
2. 2. Be the area owner and accountable for the area / department performance metrics such as safety, quality, delivery, cost, ROCK (Remove, Organize, Clean, Keep), etc.
3. 3. Ensure company policies are clearly communicated with the production team. Ensure EHS (Environment, Health and Safety) and quality regulatory requirement compliance.
4. 4. Provide proper training to the associates and ensure they are certified to perform their job with the tools provided according to the SOP (Standard Operating Procedure) / WI (Work Instruction).
5. 5. Conduct regular 1:1 and weekly communication meetings with associates to provide/receive updates, feedback, and discuss development and calibration of expectations.
6. 6. Ensure a safe working environment for associates with enforcement of PPE (Personal Protection Equipment) compliance and LOTO (Lock Out Tag Out) application.
7. 7. Ensure product is produced according to the print in order to meet the industry standards and customer expectations for quality.
8. 8. Proactively initiate quality improvements to ensure OD and PPM meet the corporate target.
9. 9. Timely containment and investigation of quality issues (together with MQS/technician etc.) in order to minimize the cost impact and prevent escape to customer.
10. 10. Responsible to support and ensure OSS scheduling of orders by due date and batching opportunity; confirm material availability to deliver orders on time to customers.
11. 11. Work with OSS to manage the expedite system, rescheduling codes and accurate dates.
12. 12. Manage machine capacity and people capacity (this includes associate work schedules, OT, time off, vacations etc.) with alignment to order scheduling.
13. 13. Responsible for overall cost performance in your cost center. Manage overtime according to business requirements, drive scrap and productivity improvements to reduce cost.
14. 14. Communicate to Techs on priority and engage in troubleshooting defective tooling that may cause efficiency or quality concerns.
15. 15. Walk the processes frequently to understand any quality concerns or bottlenecks, and address with the team in a timely manner.
16. 16. Monitor and review metrics regularly; responsible to initiate and drive continuous improvement.

Required Experience:

1. 1. Strong in data analysis and is data driven.
2. 2. Experience with Process knowledge for related area.
3. 3. Excellent problem solving, investigation skills, and needs to be detail oriented.
4. 4. People management and leadership skills.
5. 5. Understand manufacturing concept, experience in lean and six sigma is preferred.
6. 6. Must possess good communication skills – written & verbal.
7. 7. Must be able to use Microsoft Office Software (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access)
8. 8. Team player and must be able to work with multiple groups of people (Operators, Floor Managers, Engineers, etc.)
9. 9. Must be able to sit/stand for at least 90 consecutive minutes, and not suffer from any sensory deprivation and/or paralysis of the limbs.
10. 10. Lifting Requirements: Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds from floor to waist.
11. 11. Hazards and Atmospheric Conditions: Must be willing to adhere to department safety rules and regulations. May be exposed to noise (required to wear protective gear). May be exposed to Hazardous Materials & Chemicals (required to wear safety glasses and other protective gear).

Education:

1. 1. High School diploma or equivalent is required.
2. 2. Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering or equivalent is preferred; not mandatory.
