Job summary

Wynntech Star Sdn Bhd in Selangor is seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee daily seafood production operations, ensure targets are met, and maintain quality and safety according to SOPs. You will supervise tiger prawn processing, packing and labeling, allocate manpower, and report on productivity and wastage.

Responsibilities include coordinating with Warehouse, QA/QC and other departments, enforcing HACCP and GMP standards, monitoring equipment safety, and supporting continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma in Food Technology, Food Science, Manufacturing, or a related field; relevant experience may be considered.
• Preferably 3–5 years of production experience, including 1–2 years in a supervisory role.
• Seafood processing or food manufacturing experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of production planning, manpower management, HACCP, GMP, and food safety.
• Good leadership, communication, problem-solving, and reporting skills.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Excel/ Word.

• Ensure machinery safety, PPE compliance and coordinate with Maintenance.
• Enforce SOPs and identify productivity improvements; support audits.

Monday - Saturday 8.30am -5.00pm _KAPAR,SELANGOR

To supervise daily seafood production operations, ensure production targets are achieved, maintain product quality and food safety standards, and manage production manpower efficiently in accordance with company SOPs and operational requirementsProduction Planning & Operations

Supervise daily tiger prawn processing, packing, and labelling activities.

Ensure production targets, schedules, and customer orders are met.

Allocate manpower and monitor productivity, material usage, and wastage.

Coordinate with Warehouse, QA/QC, and other departments.

Manpower & Team Management

Supervise production employees and line leaders.

Monitor attendance, discipline, and work performance.

Provide on-the-job training and ensure compliance with work instructions.

Handle workplace issues and report disciplinary matters to Management.

Quality Control & Food Safety

Ensure product quality meets company and customer requirements.

Comply with HACCP, GMP, SSOP, and food safety standards.

Maintain hygiene, temperature control, and proper product handling.

Report quality issues and implement corrective actions with QA/QC.

Production Monitoring & Reporting

Monitor daily production output against targets.

Prepare production, manpower, and wastage reports.

Monitor raw material usage and recommend improvements.

Machinery & Workplace Safety

Ensure machinery is operated safely and correctly.

Coordinate with Maintenance to minimise equipment downtime.

Ensure PPE compliance, cleanliness, and workplace safety.

Report accidents, hazards, and equipment defects.

SOP Compliance & Improvement

Ensure employees follow company SOPs and work instructions.

Identify opportunities to improve productivity and reduce wastage.

Support audits and perform other duties assigned by Management.

Job Requirements

Minimum Diploma in Food Technology, Food Science, Manufacturing, or a related field; relevant experience may be considered.

Preferably 3–5 years of production experience, including 1–2 years in a supervisory role.

Seafood processing or food manufacturing experience is preferred.

Knowledge of production planning, manpower management, HACCP, GMP, and food safety.

Good leadership, communication, problem-solving, and reporting skills.

Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Excel/ Word.

Able to work in a cold, wet environment and perform overtime when required.
