Job summary

EB FROZEN FOOD SDN. BHD. in Kulim Hi-Tech is seeking a Production Leader to drive the production team to deliver on-time, high-quality seafood products. You will oversee daily manufacturing activities and ensure adherence to GMP, HACCP and ISO standards.

The role requires a Diploma or equivalent, 2 years in food manufacturing, shift-work readiness, strong teamwork and attention to detail; Kulim Hi-Tech site, Malaysia.

Qualifications

• Diploma in any relevant field (Food Science, Food Technology, Engineering, Science, etc.) or equivalent manufacturing experience.
• Preferably 2 years of food manufacturing or FMCG production experience; non-food experience welcomed.
• Understanding of GMP, HACCP, ISO, Halal, etc. or training provided.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the team to ensure on-time production of quality products.
• Report to the executives.
• Record and maintain accurate production data (downtime, input, wastage, attendance).
• Identify and resolve bottlenecks and drive process improvements.
• Support food safety and regulatory compliance (5S, hygiene, discipline).

Key Responsibilities:

• To manage and lead the team to achieve the on-time production of quality products.
• To report to the executives.
• To record and maintain accurate production data including downtime, input, wastage, attendance etc.
• To identify and resolve issues/ bottlenecks in the production process and to do process improvement.
• To support food safety and regulatory requirements by maintaining proper hygiene (5S) and operational discipline on the production floor.

Job Requirement:

• Diploma in any relevant field (Food Science, Food Technology, Engineering, Science, or other related disciplines) or equivalent working experience in manufacturing.
• Preferably minimum 2years of working experience in food manufacturing or FMCG production environment, but with experience from non-food industry is also welcomed.
• Understanding of GMP, HACCP, ISO, Halal, etc. or will be trained.
• Strong attention to detail, especially in product quality, raw material handling, process hygiene, etc.
• Good coordination and team work skills to support supervisor and collaborate with other team leaders.
• Willing to perform shift-based production duties.
• Willing to work at Kulim Hi-Tech.
