Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a qualified Production Supervisor to lead a daily production team in our palm oil/food manufacturing facility in Johor. You will drive meeting daily targets while ensuring safety, quality, and data integrity.

The ideal candidate holds a degree in Process/Chemical/Mechanical Engineering with 3+ years of relevant experience, strong leadership, and knowledge of GMP/HACCP/ISO procedures. You will collaborate across QA, maintenance, and HR to sustain smooth operations.

Qualifications

• Degree in Process/Chemical/Mechanical Engineering or related fields with minimum 3 years’ experience in palm oil or food manufacturing.
• Repairs/maintenance knowledge/skills is an added advantage.
• Knowledge of GMP, HACCP, ISO Quality Management System and Procedure.
• Relevant experience and technical knowledge.
• Excellent leadership and the ability to interact with all levels and exercise independent judgment.
• Data analysis of production metrics and indices.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a production team on a day-to-day operation to meet daily targets.
• Train available manpower to their full potential and deploy for optimum productivity.
• Present daily production indices and seek process/equipment support as needed.
• Ensure safety, discipline and housekeeping compliance by all personnel.
• Ensure proper documentation and data integrity.
• Drive for quality improvement and address quality issues within the team.
• Plan, monitor and optimize WIP movement for maximum throughput and line efficiency.
• Resolve line-related issues and understand equipment constraints to address bottlenecks.
• Collaborate with QA, maintenance and HR to ensure smooth operations.

Plan, strategize and monitor the movement of the WIP for maximum throughput, minimum idle time and maintain line linearity.

Resolve line related issues and understand all equipment constraints/ capacity issues so as to be able to identify, handle and resolve bottleneck situations.

To work closely with quality assurance, maintenance and HR department on need basis to ensure operation always in smooth conditions
