Job summary

Lipidchem in Malaysia is seeking a Production Supervisor with a degree in Process/Chemical/Mechanical Engineering and at least 3 years of related experience in palm oil or food manufacturing. You will lead a production team, ensure safety and data integrity, and drive continuous improvement across operations.

Responsibilities include meeting daily targets, training staff, presenting production indices, and coordinating with QA, maintenance and HR to sustain smooth, compliant production lines.

Qualifications

• Degree in Process/Chemical/Mechanical Engineering or related fields.
• Minimum three years’ related experience in palm oil or food manufacturing.
• GMP, HACCP and ISO Quality Management System knowledge.
• Excellent leadership with the ability to interact at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a production team to meet daily targets.
• Train available manpower and deploy for optimum productivity.
• Present daily production indices and coordinate process/equipment support.
• Uphold safety, discipline and housekeeping compliance.
• Ensure proper documentation and data integrity.
• Drive for quality improvements and address quality issues.
• Plan, monitor WIP movement for maximum throughput.
• Resolve line bottlenecks and work with QA, maintenance and HR as needed.

Drive for quality improvement and account for the quality issues in the team

Plan, strategize and monitor the movement of the WIP for maximum throughput, minimum idle time and maintain line linearity.

Resolve line related issues and understand all equipment constraints/ capacity issues so as to be able to identify, handle and resolve bottleneck situations.

To work closely with quality assurance, maintenance and HR department on need basis to ensure operation always in smooth conditions
