Job summary

Lipidchem Malaysia is seeking a qualified Production Manager to lead a palm oil/food manufacturing line and ensure efficient daily operations.

You will drive safety, quality, and productivity, train staff, and maintain data integrity while coordinating closely with QA, maintenance and HR to keep processes smooth and compliant.

Qualifications

• Degree in Process/Chemical/Mechanical Engineering or related fields.
• Minimum three years’ experience in palm oil or food manufacturing.
• Knowledge of GMP, HACCP, ISO QMS and related procedures.
• Demonstrated leadership and data-driven decision making.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a production team on a day-to-day operation to meet targets.
• Train manpower and deploy for optimum productivity.
• Present daily production indices and secure process/equipment support.
• Ensure safety, discipline, housekeeping and data integrity.
• Plan, monitor WIP movement for throughput and line balance.
• Resolve bottlenecks and coordinate with QA, maintenance and HR as needed.

Plan, strategize and monitor the movement of the WIP for maximum throughput, minimum idle time and maintain line linearity.

Resolve line related issues and understand all equipment constraints/ capacity issues so as to be able to identify, handle and resolve bottleneck situations.
