Job summary

Compart Systems Technologies (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to oversee daily operations and lead a team of operators in our manufacturing facility. You will ensure safety, plan manpower, and drive continuous improvement while meeting production and quality targets.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years in manufacturing, hands-on CNC/lathe experience, strong leadership, and good communication to coordinate with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of production experience.
• Hands-on experience with CNC/lathe machines.
• Knowledge of safety, quality, and productivity requirements.
• Strong leadership and people-management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Production Operators, Machine Operators, and Machinists.
• Ensure safe, smooth, and efficient production operations.
• Plan manpower deployment and assign tasks per requirements.
• Develop and execute production schedules to meet deadlines.
• Monitor output, efficiency, quality, and KPI performance.
• Address delays, non-conformances, and issues promptly.
• Train staff on machine setup, minor troubleshooting, and sample fabrication.
• Maintain skills matrices and support multi-skilling initiatives.
• Implement process improvements to boost productivity and reduce waste.
• Maintain a clean, organized, safe workplace per 6S.

We are seeking an experienced and hands‑on Production Supervisor to join our manufacturing team at Compart Systems Technologies (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. In this role, you will oversee daily production operations and lead a team of Production Operators, Machine Operators, and Machinists. You will be responsible for ensuring workplace safety, planning manpower, meeting production and quality targets, improving operational efficiency, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

The ideal candidate will possess strong supervisory and leadership skills, with practical experience in CNC, lathe, or other manufacturing equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise the daily activities of Production Operators, Machine Operators, and Machinists.
• Ensure production operations run safely, smoothly, and efficiently.
• Plan manpower deployment and assign production tasks according to operational requirements.
• Develop and execute production schedules to meet shipment and delivery deadlines.
• Monitor production output, efficiency, quality, and yearly KPI performance.
• Address production delays, non-conformances, and operational issues promptly.
• Train and coach employees on machine setup, minor troubleshooting, and sample fabrication.
• Maintain and update employee skills matrices and support multiskilling initiatives.
• Implement process improvements to increase productivity and reduce waste.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workplace in accordance with 6S requirements.

Requirements

• Minimum Diploma in Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering, Production Management, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of relevant production experience.
• Experience supervising employees in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Hands‑on experience with CNC machines, lathe machines, and/or other manufacturing equipment.
• Good knowledge of production processes, machinery, safety, quality, and productivity requirements.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and people‑management skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making skills.
• Able to work effectively in a fast‑paced and demanding manufacturing environment.
