Job summary

Pet World International Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead manufacturing shift, operate and maintain machinery, and ensure production targets are met while following 5S, GMP, and HACCP plans.

You will coach staff, manage rosters, monitor budgets, and coordinate material deliveries, with a focus on safety and continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain machinery.
• Work under the guidance of the Production Manager to perform and complete assigned duties in a timely manner.
• Ensure all equipment and tools are maintained in good and safe working condition.
• Implement actions to prevent nonconformities relating to product, process, and quality system through appropriate quality tools.
• Ensure all staff adhere to written procedures and recipes while operating within the principles of 5S, GMP and HACCP plans.
• Arrange and fine tune timing of all production liquid raw material deliveries and arrange pre-weighing of dry raw materials.
• Coordinate allocated resources to ensure production schedules are achieved efficiently.
• Lead the production staff roster to meet production schedules while balancing business priorities.
• Maintain a clean workstation and production floor.
• Perform ad-hoc tasks assigned by superior.

Job description

This is a production supervisory role in a manufacturing environment. You will operate and maintain machinery, work under the guidance of the Production Manager, and lead production staff to meet schedules efficiently. You will ensure equipment is maintained in safe working condition, implement quality control measures, and coordinate resources to achieve production goals while maintaining compliance with written procedures, 5S, GMP, and HACCP plans.
