Job summary

Jora Malaysia in Penang is seeking a Diploma-qualified candidate to join our fast-paced production team. Fresh graduates are welcome, and candidates with production experience have an added advantage. You will support production schedules, ensure safety, 6S, quality, and coordinate across departments.

The role requires good leadership, communication, and teamwork to guide workers and meet production targets. On-site work with opportunities for promotion and development.

Qualifications

Minimum Diploma or equivalent in Manufacturing, Production, Engineering, or related field.
Fresh graduates are welcome; candidates with production/manufacturing experience have an advantage.
Good understanding of production processes, safety, housekeeping, and 6S practices.
Strong leadership, communication and teamwork to coordinate workers.

Responsibilities

Carry out production schedule and manpower planning for job completion.
Oversee daily operations including housekeeping and 6S to improve safety and quality.
Coordinate with supervisors on activities of other departments.
Manage staff and provide guidance when needed.
Identify strengths/weaknesses and promote improvement.
Review quality issues with workers to prevent recurrence.
Provide training to upgrade skills and capabilities.
Lead by example and monitor attendance and performance.
Carry out other tasks assigned by Production Supervisor.
Understand requirements for QMS documentation and process interactions.
Assist with onsite packing when required.

To carry out production schedule and estimates manpower planning for completion of job assignment.
Responsible for the daily operational activities which include housekeeping and 6S to improve safety and quality of work and products.
To coordinates with others supervision on activities of other department.
Managing staff and provide guidance when needed.
To identify individual worker's strength/weakness and promote/improve accordingly.
To review previous quality issues with the workers to prevent the recurrence.
To provide training of proper skillsets and monitoring workers' ability to upgrade to next level.
To lead by example and monitor the workers attendance performance.
To upgrade personal capability towards career advancement planning.
To carry out any other work as assigned by the Production Supervisor from time to time.
Understand on the requirements for a QMS, Including documented information, planning and determining process interactions.
Assist with onsite packing when required, ensuring proper handling and packaging of goods.
Any others task assigned by the HOD from time to time
