Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to oversee daily apparel manufacturing, with a focus on digital dye-sublimation printing and garment assembly.

You will lead the shop floor team, manage production schedules, monitor quality, and ensure on-time, within-budget output while enforcing safety. Minimum 2-3 years of supervisory experience in garment manufacturing is required.

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Production Supervisor to oversee our daily apparel manufacturing operations, with a strong focus on digital dye-sublimation printing and garment assembly. You will lead the shop floor team, manage production schedules, and ensure all garments meet top-tier quality standards before dispatch.

Key responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate daily activities across printing, heat pressing, cutting, and sewing departments.

Monitor workflow to ensure daily production targets are met on time and within budget (Targeted output comes with commission).

Inspect sublimation print clarity, color accuracy, fabric transfer consistency, and stitching quality to minimize waste and defects.

Oversee the proper operation and maintenance of sublimation printers, rotary/flatbed heat presses, and cutting equipment.

Assign tasks and train operators and sewers on safety protocols and efficient techniques.

Monitor raw materials (sublimation paper, inks, fabrics, threads, trims) and coordinate with procurement to avoid stockouts.

About you

Minimum 2-3 years of supervisory experience in garment manufacturing, with specific experience in dye-sublimation printing and sportswear/apparel production.

Strong understanding of fabric types (polyester blends), color profiles, heat transfer press parameters (time/temperature/pressure), and garment construction.

Proven ability to manage, motivate, and handle workforce dynamics on a busy factory floor.
