Job summary

KDI Garments Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced Printing & Sublimation Supervisor to manage the daily workflow of our Printing & Sublimation Department in Seremban.

You will operate and troubleshoot sublimation and silk screen processes, prioritize jobs by deadlines, coordinate with designers and production staff, and ensure quality output.

The role requires hands-on leadership in a fast-paced garment environment, with a focus on efficiency, safety, and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in printing, silk screen, sublimation, heat press or garment production.
• Experience with silk screen / block printing is highly preferred.
• Ability to understand production job sheets and follow specifications.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Able to manage multiple jobs with priorities and deadlines.
• Hands-on leadership in a hands-on production environment.

Responsibilities

Job Summary

KDI Garments Sdn Bhd is looking for an experienced and hands‑on Printing & Sublimation Supervisor to manage and coordinate the daily workflow of our Printing & Sublimation Department.

This position is responsible not only for operating printing and sublimation equipment, but also for ensuring that production jobs are properly prioritized, assigned and completed according to the required deadlines.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Production Supervisor, Production Controller, Designer and Printing team.

Key Responsibilities

• Review production job sheets involving Printing, Sublimation and Heat Press.
• Plan and prioritize daily jobs according to production deadlines.
• Coordinate and assign jobs to the appropriate team members.
• Monitor the progress of Printing, Sublimation and Heat Press jobs.
• Operate and manage sublimation printing equipment when required.
• Handle and understand silk screen / block printing processes.
• Coordinate with the Printing Specialist for block preparation and printing work.
• Check printing quality, colour accuracy and overall output.
• Coordinate with the Designer team regarding artwork, mockups and production requirements.
• Ensure completed jobs are properly handed over to the next production process.
• Identify production bottlenecks and take action to prevent delays.
• Monitor printing materials, inks, sublimation paper and other production supplies.
• Perform basic troubleshooting and coordinate machine maintenance when required.
• Communicate job progress and issues to the Production Supervisor / PC.
• Guide and assist General Workers assigned to Printing, Sublimation and Heat Press.
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe working environment.
• Assist in improving the workflow, productivity and efficiency of the department.

Requirements

• Previous experience in printing, silk screen, sublimation, heat press or garment production.
• Experience in silk screen / block printing is highly preferred.
• Experience operating sublimation printing equipment is an advantage.
• Able to understand production job sheets and follow specifications.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Good problem-solving and decision‑making skills.
• Able to manage multiple jobs according to priority and deadline.
• Good attention to detail and quality.
• Comfortable working in a hands‑on production environment.
• Experience in garment or apparel manufacturing is an added advantage.

Working Conditions

• Monday to Friday
• 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
• Overtime may be required depending on production requirements and deadlines.
• Must be willing to work hands‑on in the production area.
