Lumileds is seeking a production supervisor in Penang, Malaysia, to lead manufacturing teams and optimize throughput. You will manage daily schedules, manpower, materials, and equipment while driving safety, quality, delivery and cost improvements.
The role requires strong problem solving and data-driven decision making. Candidates should have 3–5 years in manufacturing with 1–2 years of leadership experience, and a background in electronics or precision manufacturing is preferred.

What You Will Do:Lead, coach, and motivate production teams to achieve dailySafety, Quality, Delivery, and Costtargets.
Manage daily production schedules, manpower, materials, and equipment to maximize productivity.
Conduct shift briefings and ensure effective communication across teams and departments.
Monitor KPIs includingOEE, yield, scrap, downtime, changeover time, and labor efficiency.
Identify production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
Ensure compliance withSOPs, quality standards, and EHS requirements.
Support incident investigations, safety audits, and a strong safety-first culture.
Drive continuous improvement usingLean, 5S, Kaizen, and Six Sigmaprinciples.
Work closely with Engineering, Maintenance, Quality, Planning, and Supply Chain to resolve issues and improve operations.
Manage employee performance, training, attendance, and disciplinary matters as required.
What You Will Bring (RequiredQualifications):3–5 yearsof experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
1–2 yearsof leadership/supervisory experience, such as Shift Lead, Line Leader, or Assistant Supervisor.
Experience inelectronics, cleanroom, precision manufacturing, or a similar environment is preferred.
Strong understanding of production processes, equipment, troubleshooting, and automation.
Experience managing production KPIs and delivering improvements inSafety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost.
Strong problem-solving, communication, leadership, and decision-making skills.
Able to remain calm under pressure, adapt to changing priorities, and lead a diverse production team.
