Job summary

Lumileds is seeking a production supervisor in Penang, Malaysia, to lead manufacturing teams and optimize throughput. You will manage daily schedules, manpower, materials, and equipment while driving safety, quality, delivery and cost improvements.

The role requires strong problem solving and data-driven decision making. Candidates should have 3–5 years in manufacturing with 1–2 years of leadership experience, and a background in electronics or precision manufacturing is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing or production environments.
• Leadership or supervisory experience is required.
• Experience with electronics/cleanroom or precision manufacturing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach production teams to meet daily safety, quality, delivery and cost targets.
• Manage daily production schedules, manpower, materials, and equipment.
• Conduct shift briefings and ensure cross-team communication.
• Monitor KPIs such as OEE, yield, scrap, downtime and labor efficiency.
• Identify issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure SOPs, quality standards and EHS compliance.
