Job summary

MFS Technology (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking a Production Superintendent to lead the Manufacturing Team toward delivering quality output and on-time delivery. You will oversee multiple production sectors, coordinate resources, and drive performance across output, productivity, and inventory metrics.

You will manage capacity planning, supervisor and process engineer development, ensure safety and quality standards, and align activity plans with company strategy.

Responsibilities

• 1. Responsible for ensuring that work carried out by the Manufacturing Team is carried out in such a way as to comply with Quality Management.
• 2. Supervise and co-ordinate various production sectors to achieve quality output and delivery schedule.
• 3. Responsible for the development and deployment of resources, workload forecasting, managing budgets and skills development.
• 4. Responsible for organizing daily reviews with line personnel, addressing issues pertaining to output, headcount, WIP and bottleneck.
• 5. Responsible for production output, capacity planning and resources utilization to achieve production goals in regards of output, productivity, cycle time, delivery, and inventory turn.
• 6. Management and development of the Production Supervisor and Process Engineers.
• 7. Managing the Manufacturing activities related to the work and production processes, monitoring the problems that occur in the field and ensure obtaining solutions to the problems.
• 8. Responsible for ensuring activity plan in line with company strategies.
• 9. Responsible for ensuring all machine setups comply with safety requirements, operating procedures, and quality standards and train and coach operators and technicians on machine setup, program selection, and basic troubleshooting.
• 10. Plan readiness of manpower, develop capabilities and monitor performance of Supervisor and Process Engineers for ensure manpower availability in line with competencies.
• 11. Responsible to carry out productivity improvement and cost reduction program.
• 12. Responsible for ensuring the quality management system implementations and maintenances in accordance with the ISO 9001, IATF 16949, AS 9100, ISO 13485 and customer requirements are met.
