Job summary

TRANSPAK PENANG SDN. BHD. is seeking a Production Assistant to support daily operations under the Production Supervisor.

You will monitor progress, lead shifts, and ensure on-time completion of customer orders while maintaining production flow across multiple lines. You will allocate manpower based on priorities, coordinate with Planning, Warehouse, QA and Maintenance to resolve issues, and support shipment planning to meet delivery schedules.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Production Supervisor in managing daily production operations
• Monitor production progress and ensure on-time completion of customer orders
• Lead and manage assigned production shifts independently
• Supervise multiple production lines and ensure smooth production flow
• Allocate and rearrange manpower based on production priorities
• Follow up on urgent, late-triggered, and high-priority orders
• Monitor employee attendance, discipline, and work performance
• Ensure workers comply with company rules, safety regulations, and PPE requirements
• Coordinate with Planning, Warehouse, QA, and Maintenance to resolve production issues
• Understand on the requirements for a QMS, Including documented informations, planning and determining process interaction
• Support shipment planning by ensuring products are completed according to delivery schedules
• Identify production bottlenecks and implement immediate corrective actions
• Ensure production quality standards and work instructions are followed
• Maintain good housekeeping (5S) and workplace safety
• Prepare daily production updates and shift handover reports
• Perform any other duties assigned by the Superior
