Job summary

TF-AMD Penang is seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee shift planning, resource allocation, and quality targets at Bayan Lepas and Batu Kawan. You will drive efficiency, coach operators, and coordinate with Tier2 teams to maintain high performance.

You will lead a disciplined team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, implement 5S, and review daily production metrics to meet weekly commitments and cost goals.

Qualifications

• Diploma or higher in engineering or equivalent.
• 0–6 years manufacturing operation experience in a high paced environment; fresh graduates welcome.
• Strong leadership with experience or potential in people management.
• Independent, resourceful and initiative-taking; able to cooperate with other departments.
• Project management skills and familiarity with office tools.
• Knowledge of Statistical Process Control.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage resources to achieve production targets, quality, yield, output and cost goals.
• Manage the performance, motivation, and satisfaction of the production team and processes to ensure key quality, output and efficiency are met.
• Do shift production plan and set goals for each insertion based on weekly commitment goal.
• Prepare and review daily production report.
• Lead the team to continuous productivity and 5S/discipline/quality improvement through QCC/SGA.
• Solve and feedback line abnormal issues appropriately.
• Ensure operators work complying with specs and company policy.
• Coordinate to hold cross-function Tier2 meetings successfully.
• Rate line employees’ monthly performance fairly and encourage improvement.
• Coaching and training line people to improve their performance.
• Other duties assigned by supervisor/manager.
