Job summary

Guocera Sdn Bhd is seeking a capable Production Shift Supervisor to lead technicians and operators, ensuring production aligns with the plan, SOPs, and quality standards. You will monitor output, allocate manpower, and coordinate assignments to meet targets and maintain safe, efficient operations.

The role requires 3–5 years in manufacturing, strong leadership, and a solid understanding of process control and product quality.

Qualifications

Diploma/Certificate in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Manufacturing Technology or related field.
3–5 years in manufacturing/production operations, preferably ceramic tile or automated environments.
Experience leading operators and technicians during shifts.
Solid understanding of production processes, product quality, process control, and safety requirements.

Responsibilities

Lead and supervise production technicians and operators during the shift.
Ensure activities align with the production plan, SOPs, work instructions, and quality standards.
Monitor output and achieve shift targets.
Allocate manpower and coordinate work assignments as needed.
Monitor critical process parameters and keep operations within limits.
Oversee product quality, defect trends, and take corrective actions.
Ensure machinery and utilities operate safely and reliably.
Support troubleshooting and coordinate breakdow n recovery.
Verify production checks and maintain records.
Conduct shift briefings and smooth handovers.
Ensure safety, 5S, and environmental requirements are followed.
Coach operators and technicians to improve competency and productivity.
