Job summary

Team Printers Sdn Bhd in Penang is seeking a Production Supervisor to plan, organize, and monitor daily shift schedules to meet production targets across multiple stages.

You will lead and mentor production workers, coordinate with QA/QC, Finished Goods Store (FGS) and Planning, enforce safety, and drive improvements while ensuring quality and on-time delivery. Based in Prai and willing to work shifts.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• At least 3 years of working experience in the manufacturing industry
• Good understanding of production processes, machine operations, and quality control principles
• Willing and able to work on shift and be based in Prai
• Experience in the printing and packaging industry is an added advantage

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and monitor daily shift schedules to meet production targets
• Liaise with QA/QC, FGS, and Planning to ensure smooth operations
• Supervise, train, and mentor production workers; conduct performance evaluations and manage disciplinary matters
• Enforce safety regulations and ensure products meet quality standards
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and troubleshoot machinery issues
• Document and report production data to management on progress and issues
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure proper maintenance of production equipment
• Selected candidate will undergo 6 months of technical training
