Job summary

LINKTEL TECHNOLOGIES SDN.BHD. invites an experienced Production Manager Assistant to support daily operations in Batu Kawan, Penang. You will execute production plans, allocate manpower and resources, monitor 5S/ESD/safety, and enforce discipline to meet daily targets.

You will drive continuous improvements in productivity and quality, develop the production team, and coordinate cross‑functional actions to boost efficiency and reduce costs in a fast‑paced electronics environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in Electronics, Mechatronics, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
• 4–8 years (or more) of production management experience in manufacturing/electronics.
• Strong team management, leadership, and cross-functional coordination.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Able to lead, motivate, coach and develop team members.
• Mandarin-speaking ability is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Assist Production Manager to organize and coordinate production lines to meet daily production targets.
• Allocate manpower and resources according to plan.
• Monitor 5S, ESD, safety and production discipline.
• Drive line balancing and productivity improvements.
• Lead cross-functional teams to implement preventive actions for quality issues.
• Develop training mechanisms to shorten learning curves.
• Analyze costs and improve labor cost composition.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or management.
