Sanco Connecting Technology (Malaysia) SDN.BHD is seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee daily manufacturing activities, ensuring safety, efficiency, and quality. The role involves planning, coordinating manpower and machines, monitoring progress, and driving continuous improvement within the production line.

The candidate will supervise operators, manage shifts, train staff on procedures and safety, and collaborate with Planning/Warehouse to ensure material readiness.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Manufacturing/Engineering or related field.
• Lean/Six Sigma or 5S training is an advantage.
• Hands-on experience in production operations and scheduling.
• Minimum 3–5 years in manufacturing; at least 1–2 years in supervision.

Responsabilités

• Supervise daily production activities according to plans and schedules.
• Allocate manpower, machines, materials, and workstations to meet requirements.
• Monitor progress, targets, and delivery schedules; address bottlenecks.
• Coordinate with Planning/Warehouse to ensure materials are available for production.
• Maintain production records and output quantities.
• Ensure compliance with work instructions, specifications, and quality standards.
• Investigate quality issues and implement corrective actions.
• Minimize rejects, rework, waste, and losses.
• Supervise and develop production operators; manage shifts and attendance.
• Train staff on procedures, equipment operation, safety, and SOPs.
• Coach for teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Report manpower and training requirements to management.
• Maintain safety and clean production environment.
• Monitor safety, PPE use, and safe working practices; manage incidents.
